Electronic Case Filing Fee Options

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

As of October 2, 2012, the Eastern District of Oklahoma will allow attorneys to pay filing fees via the internet using a credit card or automated clearing house (ACH) payment through CM/ECF.  Paying online using ACH or a credit card is an optional feature.  The Court will still accept fees that are mailed or hand-delivered to the Clerk's Office.

Prior to October 2, 2012, documents that required a filing fee had to be filed conventionally.  Now all documents requiring a filing fee (excluding those filed pro se or in sealed cases) may be e-filed and the filing fee will be processed online through CM/ECF.  NOTE:  For new cases, the Clerk's office will set up the case for you after receiving the required documents via email, but you can then file the initial document and pay the new case filing fee through CM/ECF.  Please refer to the Court's Administrative Guide for detailed instructions on how and where to submit case opening pleadings.
