Business casual attire is acceptable, but since you will actually be involved in court proceedings, clothing such as tank or halter tops, shorts, t-shirts, or sweat pants is not appropriate to wear while you are sitting as a juror. Also, no hats are permitted in the courtroom during any proceedings.

Food and drink should not be taken in the courtroom. The court will provide
soft drinks and coffee during breaks.

Books, magazines and newspapers should not be brought into the courtroom.

Smoking is not permitted in the Courthouse. Breaks are usually of sufficient length to permit jurors to go outside where smoking is permitted.
